The end of the CSR Project... or is it?
For those who still do not know, last week we had the enormous pleasure of having bunch of American football players in Skopje, to help us in the work at the orphanage 11th Of October. Each day we spent more than 14 hours together, working, having fun, shopping, walking around the city and meeting new people. So far at the orphanage they've painted the whole fence, which is now in the traditional Macedonian colors, red and yellow and also they've cleaned the yard from garbage, old leaves and they've finished the gazebo we had built previously but never gotten to finish it. So here is one shout out to all the Wheaton boys that were here, and we use this opportunity to send the greatest of them all appreciations to say thanks for what they did, how much they've helped us and lifted our motivation to continue this kind of work to a heavenly level.
On Friday the 15th of March, we finished the planned work and that concluded the expected goal of the CSR project, but its effects are yet to be heard and seen. Even though everyone now sees the fence in those beautiful national colors, we had many businesses and other public entities from Macedonia showing interest to participate in our work and help us and help those children that live there. We salute everyone willing to help, donate, assist us in any kind or even just sharing the word of our work. Also, if you want to check out more about how one of the American Football players felt and what he did during the project, make sure to check out his blog http://danielseuropeanadventures.wordpress.com/. We know that you would enjoy the up-close and personal aspect of this project with his words. At last, but not least, we leave you with some pictures beneath, to see and furthermore comprehend what has happened during the past ten days. |
