Before Christmas IAO has started a program for gathering donations for purchasing of warmcoats for the children living currently at the orphanage 11th October in Skopje. Thanks to our many friends we were able to purchase more than 60 coats which were given away on Saturday, the 19th of January, at a small party thrown by the kids themselves.
The party consisted of a musical play and a recital by the children, which was great and everyone had a great time. Refer to the picture slideshow below the text, to check how the whole thing went. We only can say that our hearts are full of warmth as we have many friends who helped us to gather the donations for the winter coats. Now, every child in the orphanage, from the youngest till the eldest are having a brand new, modern coat which will keep them warm during the winter period.
