The quay of the Vardar river will be the place where on 2nd of April the sixth traditional half-marathon race called "Running to the goal" will be held. It is developed and organized by the christian church "Letters of Hope" (Slovo na Nadez) in collaboration with NGO Integrity Alpha and Omega. 

Last year, the fifth edition of the race was going under the motto "POVERTY NO!", and every contestant was donating some symbolic amount of money, to the cause of the race. The three goals (causes) that the contestants were donating for, were: renovation of the toilets in the elementary school Lazo Angelovski in Novo Lisiche in Skopje, donation for the program for education of Roma children in collaboration with NGO Sumnal from Skopje, and donation for the physical education programs for people with special needs, in collaboration with NGO Poraka from Negotino.

This year goal will be the promotion of the healthy and active living, through sports, socialization and training.

Categories are:

- Children, 1km race;

- 7km recreational race and

- 21 km half-marathon race.

The start is planned to be at the bridge " Bliznaci" near Novo Lisiche in Skopje, at 11:00 (registrations open in 10:00). Below you can find the map of the race.
